Medeu Ice Rink

Medeu is the highest open-air ice rink in the world, located in a mountain valley 15 km from Almaty at an altitude of 1,691 meters. Built in 1972, it became famous for numerous world records. Today it is a popular place for skating, concerts, and mountain walks, surrounded by scenic views and fresh alpine air.
