About
Alma-Arasan Gorge is a picturesque mountain valley about 20 km southwest of Almaty. It is known for its clear river, the scent of pine trees, and beautiful trails; it is popular for easy hikes, picnics, and weekend walks. The area has viewpoints, small cafés, and access to natural hot springs higher up the gorge.
