Issyk Lake — formed about 8,000 years ago, located 70 km from Almaty in the Issyk Gorge of the Trans-Ili Alatau. This turquoise lake, surrounded by mountains, is known for its beauty and shades that change throughout the day.

Bear Waterfall — located in the Turgen Gorge, 70 km from Almaty, in Ile-Alatau National Park. Among the seven waterfalls, Bear Waterfall is the most popular. The trail passes by a rushing river, small bridges, and mountain forests rich in herbs and flowers.
