Kok-Tobe

Kok-Tobe is a park on a hill above central Almaty, at about 1,100 meters above sea level. Visitors come here for sweeping views of the city and the Ile Alatau mountains; it can be reached by cable car from the Dostyk Avenue area or by road.

The park has observation decks, cafés and restaurants, family attractions, photo zones, and the famous bronze Beatles monument. Nearby stands the Almaty TV Tower, one of the main visual landmarks of this area.
