Shymbulak Ski Resort

Shymbulak is Almaty’s main mountain resort, located in the Medeu Gorge at an altitude of 2,200 meters. It offers panoramic views of the Trans-Ili Alatau, slopes for all levels, cable cars, restaurants, and cozy chalets. In summer, visitors come for hiking and mountain air; in winter, it is the heart of Kazakhstan’s ski scene.
