Palace of the Republic

The Palace of the Republic is a major cultural venue in Almaty, located at the foot of Kok-Tobe. Built in the 1970s, it hosts major concerts, festivals, official events, and performances by local and international artists. The building stands next to the monument to Abai Kunanbayev, a poet and thinker who played a key role in shaping Kazakh culture and national identity.
