Ile-Alatau National Park

Ile-Alatau National Park stretches along the northern slopes of the Trans-Ili Alatau, forming Almaty’s main natural area. It is home to well-known places such as Big Almaty Lake, the Alma-Arasan Gorge, and numerous hiking trails. The park is rich in rivers, forests, and wildlife, offering easy access to untouched mountain landscapes right next to the city.
